This project involved utilizing idle land for use as a community garden site. The site was stripped of unhealthy trees which were milled into rough lumber for the garden planter boxes. The existing chain link fence structure was repurposed for the custom seating area and garden sign. Every effort was made to reuse materials, as well as, retain water on the site. A small terraced retention system was installed to minimize water runoff into the city water system.
